I don't have closet doors anymore, I took them out this summer.

2. Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels?
Yes. And I don't think I've used a single one. They're all sitting in the junk drawer of my dresser. :P

3. Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
Tucked in.

4. Have you ever stolen a street sign before?
No. But I really want one of those signs that says "BUMP".

5. Do you like to use post-it notes?
I LOVE Post-it notes.

6. Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
Haha. Yes. Because I never have the money to buy anything even if I do have a coupon or discount.

I think I'd rather be stung by bees and live to tell about it than be mauled to death by a bear.

Yeah, but it's hard to see them sometimes.

Oh my goodness, I haven't posted in months. Meme, questions from Sugah.

1. You're given the opportunity to change one episode of CSI: NY (the whole episode, not just a scene). Which one would you change?
The Lying Game. (3x14) I didn't care much for the main storyline about the drag queen. Some tourist killed her (him?) just because he found out she was a he. Sounds like the guy's ego and pride just got a hold of him. I don't really think it was one of NY's finest. Could have been a better storyline. But I guess the main thing I'd change in that episode would be Lindsay saying goodbye to Danny. (This may only count as a scene, but oh well). Yes, I absolutely loved the card (Moo!) and I'm glad Danny at least noticed her leaving. Leading up to that, it seemed like they didn't even work in the same lab, there was no interaction. But I still wish she would have gotten out of the cab to say goodbye to him. It is only the guy who's absolutely crazy about her... :P

2. If you could meet anyone - living or dead, famous or not - who would you want to meet?
Well, call me a geek or a nerd or whatever, but my first answer is Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway on Star Trek Voyager). My family watched Voyager when it aired (rather, we tried to, but we didn't get cable when we lived in Wyoming and had to live off of tapes some friends in Oregon sent us, which didn't come all that regularly ^_^), and then we got the DVDs when they were released about 3 years ago. So I became hooked. Again. Kate Mulgrew was just really cool as Janeway, I thought she played a great captain, especially as the first woman to be a main Star Trek captain. And on top of that, Janeway just kicks ass. :)

3. What country (or city) have you always wanted to visit?
Europe. It varies from wanting to visit Italy or France or England, but I've always wanted to go to Europe. I'm definitely planning on it for my honeymoon. ^_^ Europe just seems so...magical. I'm not sure how else to describe it. I just want to go. :)

4. Given the chance, what would you change about your life?
I would change the fact that when I was in grade school, I didn't stick up for myself. I let people walk all over me and use me, and I'll admit that I'm ashamed of that. If I could change it I would have given myself some more guts to stand up for what was right and not try to fade into the background.

5. If you were an appliance, what appliance would you be?
A blender. Sometimes I'm on, sometimes I'm off, and when I'm on there's all these different speeds and settings of my mood and how chipper I am. And how loud I talk. lol.

Heh. I probably don't have anything at all remotely rational to say as I watch this...

Okay. What the hell is Adam doing in the field?! There has been absolutely nothing leading up to this, except maybe more Adam scenes in episodes. But when Greg went out into the field, it took a whole year for him to do his training and testing. But now Adam gets sent to a high-profile crime scene? And he gets taken hostage and a cigarette in the hand. That's what they get for sending him to the field...

lawl. They were sleeping on the pool table. Wow. And that's not awkward to watch with my mom. >_< And he took the shift for her. She might've been the one getting beat up at the warehouse... Did anyone else notice that in the flashback, Lindsay said something with a Danny-accent? And he poked her nose when he woke up. Awwwww that was too CUTE!

How did Mac get the trace from the mob guy's shoe and match it to the warehouse in Brooklyn so fast?!

Sid's hat. Is. Hilarious. I don't know what the heck it's supposed to be. But it's really funny.

Why is Danny's shirt half-untucked? It's very unlike Danny. But...but...IS HE SUICIDAL?!? Damn, they're beating him like a rag doll! But it's not like he hasn't seen this before...speaking of which, why can't TPTB just bring back Tanglewood? Instead they have some random gang that all have accents like Gerard Butler. lol.

Flack for the hostages? Oh no...is he trying to redeem himself for what happened with the dirty cop earlier? Or shooting the suspect when they did the drug bust? Flack, what are you doing??

Overall...4, maybe 4.5 out of 5. It was an okay episode, the only reason I'm rating it high is the huge D/L quota we got this week, to be honest. I think TPTB have finally decided they need to make up for all the D/L they deprived us of for so many long months. =]

Yuck. I have to go back to school tomorrow. I haven't had any actually classes since almost 2 weeks. I love getting a whole week off to put together our play performance, but it completely throws everything off. I now have 3 papers to work on, a passage from Chaucer to memorize before spring break, research to do for my trip to Australia, and not to mention all this other stuff!

Other stuff meaning guy stuff. Typical, right? You start to fall for one of your guy friends and it's kind of weird because there are times when it seems obvious he may like you and there are times when it's completely the opposite. He just...he acts differently around me. And that's when it's just me. With other girls it's totally different. And I don't know if it means anything or not.

*sigh*

On a slightly happier note, a couple of my friends and I went to the mall today just to try on dresses. The formal's not for another month or so. But I found a really cute black/pink dress that actually looked good on me. Maybe I'll post the picture somewhere. I really like it, I might actually get the dress for the formal. :)
And shoes. Shoes always cheer me up. I found THE cutest pair of silver strappy heel-sandals at Plato's Closet. For only $6. And, hey, if the shoe fits...buy an outfit to match. ;-)

So. Sleight Out of Hand. Possibly THE best episode EVER. Eh, not possibly. THE BEST EPISODE EVER!!!! I jumped on my bed and screamed into pillows so much I was breathless, but then I STILL couldn't sleep. This episode was amazing.

1. I don't think Danny was really tired...he was just worried about Lindsay. Sleepless nights worrying while she's 2000 miles away in Montana...

2. His expression when Stella tells him Lindsay says hi. So cute. I was ready to burst out laughing or jump up and hug Danny through the TV screen. ^_^

3. "Abracadabra." I wub Danny. <3 Now if only I could find caps!! I only have 2 from DLC catie posted last night...

Wonderful Winter Weather

No school! w00t w00t! It's been raining here since about noon yesterday, and it's finally turning into ice today. They're also predicting it's gonna get worse as the day progresses, so just about everyone in the city/county is off school. YAY!

I decided one of THE most fun things to do is jump on my brother's bed. Seriously. I haven't had a spring mattress in, like, 3 years, and ever since my dad built me this captain's bed, whenever I stand up my head nearly touches the ceiling. Not the most ideal piece of furniture to be jumping on. XP So that leaves my bro's bed. And it makes me want to keep jumping until my legs collapse. *shrugs* *lol*

The ice/freezing rain stuff is starting to pile up outside to where it barely looks like snow. I sure hope it doesn't melt tonight or tomorrow, maybe we'll get another day off tomorrow. That'd be nice. :D

I think maybe I'll go write something now. Or read some more Phantom of the Opera. ^_^

I am so...tired. Worn down. I guess I've been feeling like this a lot. The workload at school is nuts. I've had three or four papers that have been assigned in the past two weeks...make that five, if you count my Greek project (even though it's not due till April). Add play lines needing to be memorized and work and Mock Trial and fundraising for both school stuff and my trip to Australia this summer...and you've got one very exhausted and stressed out Christina. *sigh*

This exhausted Christina is beginning to get sick of her muse, too. It keeps giving me great ideas for fanfics, and I can practically see them playing out in my mind. But it's hard to write them all down when any free time I do have is spent staring blankly at the TV putting off more homework or trying to sleep.

Believe it or not, though, I've started on the next chapter of "I Will Be There For You." (you can click here to read the first 3 chapters--but just so you know it has S3 spoilers.) I apologize to everyone who's waited so patiently for me to update. I really am sorry for making you wait so long...this funk I'm in has gone on longer than I expected. *lol* :P

I'd better go get some homework done. Ya think I can write a rough draft and an outline and read Chaucer before CSI is on in two hours? ^_~

This morning I looked at a container of cream cheese in our fridge and I swear it said "Body by Cream Cheese." I'm losing it.

I have 4 papers to work on today. And lines to memorize for my school play. So I don't think I'll watch the Super Bowl, even just for the commercials. You can find anything online now, and believe me, people love to put SB commercials online.

I was thinking about downloading Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Mac, so I could play around with some tutorials that Sugah sent me...but the download's gonna take 2+ hours. I guess I could download it while I work on one of my papers. Once I have Photoshop sitting in my Applications folder, though, the paper is forgotten and I spend the rest of the day playing around with avvies and banners. =P

BTW, for any people I know from TV.com, don't worry, it's me, CG. I just had to get a different user name because "citygirl129" was already taken.

...I've got an LJ! I was bored...even though I have like 5 papers to write this week...so I got myself an LJ. I think this is gonna be for my TV.com friends...'cause I don't like posting on my blog there for some reason. ~_~

I feel really tired and depressed. I don't know. I'm listening to my Phantom of the Opera music now...somehow, it's not doing anything. Usually it does.
I know! I'll find all the songs we have on the M&Ms soundtrack and burn all of the 10 CDs (at least!) that we'll need for all those songs. :P D/L music would cheer me up...Ok, I guess I'll settle for my pathetic iTunes playlist instead. ~_~
